Batsari Local Government Council Proposes More Projects.

Batsari local government area in Katsina State has planned to execute more projects in the next phase of projects implementation of the state government across local government areas of the state.
Chairman of the local council Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Ifo disclosed this in an interview when the Media Team of the state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs visited Batsari local government area on projects assessment mission.
Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Ifo said all the hitches so far observed by the team of Inspectors from the Supervising Ministry led by the Commissioner Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi were effectively and successfully fixed.
"As you have gone round and witnessed all the projects executed in the first phase of the programme as approved by the state Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda and fully supervised by the relevant Ministry as well as the State House of Assembly have been successfully completed. We are now awaiting the approval of the state Governor to start the second phase as proposed." He added.
The Chairman expressed delight over the good role played by Governor Dikko Radda particularly in curbing insecurity and reviving the lost glory of local government areas across the state.
"I also applauded the Governor for appointing Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, as the role being played by the Commissioner in revitalizing the activities of local councils across the state can not be over emphasised." He said.
While commending the efforts of both the state Governor, Commissioner for LGCA and the Chairman of the local council by the Head of Building Unit Alhaji Abdul'aziz, Head of CDSS Wagini Bala Barau Wagini and Mohammad Tasi'u Ibrahim Imam Wagini, they also prayed for Allah's guidance on leaders to succeed in curbing insecurity at states and the nation at large.
The Media Team was conducted round the completed projected by the Head of Building Unit of the local government Alhaji Abdul'aziz had visited the completed total renovation work of Community Day Secondary School Wagini with a newly constructed 620 Metre wall fencing including barbed wire on top, provision of classroom seats and office furniture which is now ready for learning activities.
Other Projects are the completed construction work of a one block of two classrooms, office and store attached as well a toilets of an Islamiyya School at Yasore Village and a similar structure of Islamiyya School at Magama Quarters in Batsari town.
The Media Team also visited a permanent structure meant for headquarters of the CWC provided and renovated by the local council in collaboration with the state government.
Other Projects executed by the local council under the stewardship of Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Ifo include drainages, and renovation work of Rumah and Abadau health facilities.
